Dr. Amin Jahedi is a Podiatric Surgeon who treats conditions of the foot and ankle. After receiving his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Illinois at Chicago, Dr. Jahedi went on to complete his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University. He completed a comprehensive 3-year surgical training at Northwell – North Shore Long Island Jewish Hospital in New York. Dr. Jahedi was trained at an adult and pediatric level 1 trauma center and feels confident treating patients of all ages. As part of his training, Dr. Jahedi spent time at the Fordham University Athletic Department where he was exposed to sports medicine and assisted in treating Division 1 college athletes.
Dr. Jahedi’s special interests include foot and ankle trauma sports medicine, flatfoot reconstruction, diabetic-limb salvage, and Charcot reconstruction. He has completed numerous courses relating to foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Jahedi also enjoys treating patients with more common problems like heel pain, ingrown toenails, fungal toenails, warts, diabetic foot care, sports injuries, and children's gait abnormalities.
Dr. Jahedi and his wife love to travel and enjoy immersing themselves in different cultures and trying new cuisines. During his free time, he enjoys traveling, working out, playing soccer and cooking.
