Dr. Amin Jahedi is a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine who treats various conditions of the foot and ankle. After receiving his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Illinois at Chicago, Dr. Jahedi completed his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University. He completed a comprehensive three-year surgical training at Northwell Health Hospital in New York, where he trained in a Level I trauma center in both adult and pediatric care. As part of his training, Dr. Jahedi spent time at the Fordham University Athletic Department where he practiced sports medicine and assisted in treating Division I college athletes.
Dr. Jahedi’s special interests include: foot and ankle trauma, sports medicine, flatfoot reconstruction, diabetic limb salvage and Charcot reconstruction. He has completed numerous courses relating to foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Jahedi also treats patients with more common problems such as heel pain, ingrown toenails, fungal toenails, warts, diabetic foot care, sports injuries, and children's gait abnormalities.
Dr. Jahedi loves to travel with his wife and enjoy immersing themselves in different cultures and trying new cuisines. During his free time he enjoys working out, playing soccer and cooking.
